Chassis A9/722/U (the first built, the second being bodied after the prototype) benefits from a design that sits between the prototype and the following production. Manufactured between the end of 1938 and the beginning of 1939, this was originally a “test and show car”.
The first owner bought the car on July, 1939. In the ‘60s, it was dismantled and the body fitted to a Jaguar XK 120 chassis. 40 years later, the body was rejoined to its chassis and restored by the present owner in 2011/2012.
